Our flagship turkey load in 12 Gauge; 3 1/2″ of pure hard hitting TSS(Tungsten Super Shot). Offered in 7 1/2, 8, or 9 shot, there is not a cartridge on the market today that matches our payload, 1175 FPS speed and pattern retention. If you’re looking to put the most possible pellets on target, this is the best turkey ammunition on the market. The shot count for these turkey loads are incredible. Our shell loaded with #9 shot boasts 905 pellets. Our #8 loaded shell has 635, and our #7.5 shell has 550. The lethality of this load is absolutely incredible and as a hunters, we want to be as lethal & ethical as possible.
SHOT COUNT:
- #9: 905
- #8: 635
- #7.5: 550

Last turkey season was the first time using apex I was skeptical to pay that much money but I killed four turkeys the farthest was 35 to 40 yards the closest was 10 to 15 yards none of even moved stone cold killed them I won’t use nothing else and the best part is it’s made in Mississippi my home state by veteran owned company 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I have been a satisfied Apex customer for 3 years. I have mad some kills that I know I could not pulled off if I had not been using TSS. The first year I used them was in Texas where long shots are usually the norm. After speaking with Jason a few times over the years I suggested he re-name the 12ga. 3 1/2″ #9s to “Rocket Launchers”. One thing for sure is they will stop the flop.

Pricey shells but worth it when a gobbler comes in. If you want some additional range while still ensuring an ethical kill, these are the shells to buy. The big Tom I took at 25 yards just fell over and did not move again.

I cannot make a comparison with your product to any other ammo shotgun shell for turkeys because there is NO comparison. I teach turkey hunting seminars and I’ve harvest over 80 birds. Prior to I used another brand (lead); but these TSS 12 ga. 3.5, #9’s are on a level of patterning all their own from 20-60 yards. I harvested a mature gobbler this spring at 55 yards. If fact I held off his first pass, but shot when he came back. Folded right up and never flopped. I’m buying enough boxes so I never run out. Cost is not a factor when you’re dealing with quality like this, Gary

I’m pretty new to turkey hinting…or @ least turkey killing. I think I hunted turkey for 5 years without luck till I switched to the Apex 3.5 inch load using the # 9 shot out of a Remington 870. A 1×4 Weaver kaspa scope helps. The recoil is enough to make me go blind for a second, but there is always a turkey laying there between 50-56 yards when I can see again.

Having hunted turkeys for over 40 years I’ve evolved with ammo as they increased in quality. Apex really separates itself from EVERY other brand on the market. That’s not an advertisement bite, its a fact. As a result many of my friends are now Apex only customers. Having harvest 4 birds in the last two years with Apex, I’m dug in with their brand. All I ask of Apex is, don’t change a thing, stay humble and keep the quality locked in!

Having shot a lot of different shells over the years, it is honestly difficult to do a comparison. Hands down the best shell I have ever used for turkeys. There isn’t really anything else on the market to compare these with you just have to experience them. Basically everything you want in a turkey shell (pattern density, penetration, construction, etc.) is present at the highest degree with this load. I am especially impressed how the shells handle everything from close range to the farthest limits you would feel comfortable shooting a turkey. Due to a miscalculation on my part, I shot a turkey at 62 yards last year with these shells. Not only did the shot perform at that distance it killed the turkey stone dead. I don’t advocate for such long range shots myself but these shells will clearly do it and probably more. I shoot nothing but Apex for turkey now.

Last season was the first time using apex ammo products. I used the #9 , Turkey load in 3.5 magnum, 12 gauge. The shotgun was a Beretta A350. I shot and killed a gobbler at 83 yards!!! I had a range finder and tested it 3 times and then measured it off. Yes, this load is awesome. Although it worked this time, I will admit that was a long shot, and it is not one to take often. But this turkey load is amazing and then some. I’m ordered some now. Thanks apex.

Terrific product and great customer service. Never hunted turkeys until I retired, now I’m 6 for 6 with Apex TSS. Recoil and price were both punishing getting set up. Now if I’m only shooting a couple per year neither matters. Put 426 in 10 in. at 40 yds with 3.5in 9’s with Mossberg 835 and IC choke. I see no reason to shoot anything else. Thanks Apex !

I have used several different turkey loads over the years and Apex outperforms them all by an order of magnitude. They hit harder, shoot farther, and pattern tighter. The pattern density is homogeneous and unmatched. Most turkeys shot with Apex never even wiggle – it simply kills them deader than dead. Getcha a box and see for yourself.

I HAVE BEEN KILLING TURKEYS SINCE THE LATE 1980’S AND HANDS DOWN THESE ARE BEST SHELLS ON THE MARKET. MY KIDS HAVE KILLED BIRDS OUT TO 40 YARDS WITH THE 410 SHELLS. THE REST OF MY FAMILY INCLUDING MYSELF HAVE MADE INCREDIBLE SHOTS WITH THE 12 GA. AND 10 GA. SHELLS. I HAVE SHOT JUST ABOUT ALL THE TSS LOADS OUT THERE AND THERE IS JUST NO BETTER TSS LOADS MADE.

First day hunting, called one in on edge of the field, shot him at 30 yards and he dropped like a rock, not even a twitch. 20 minutes later could have taken the dominant bird who actually owned the field but only allowed a bird a day. 20 pounds, 11 inch beard so wasn’t a bad bird to take.

I killed an old Mississippi delta gobbler at 93 steps and my hunting partner was with me and witnessed it all!! I never dreamed the shot was that distance but my Beretta with 3,5” #9’s thru a Carlton turkey choke worked unbelievable ! Later in the season last year , I killed my 2nd & 3rd gobbler at 60 & 70 yds. This load truly is the best there is, wish I would have them my last 45 yrs of turkey hunting!

2024 spring gobbler season was a success. Big ole Tom came in at 20yds and lights out. I give it to the Apex Ammunition on quality, hands down the best. I definitely & highly recommend using, no disappointments.
