These loads are a GAME CHANGER. This ammunition has given me the confidence to carry a lighter turkey gun, while not sacrificing 12 gauge performance. I don’t ever see myself carrying a 12 gauge again. Chamber a round and see for
Yourself, you won’t regret it!

I can’t explain enough how confident these shells will make you after seeing it on paper! Astounding!!

Great company putting out an amazing product.

Just smoked a Osceola with these shells. Shooting great patterns with a Winchester Sx3 long beard with .555 IC and .570 IC. I won’t shoot anything else out of the 20g

5 star ammo, 5 star company. Best shell in the game by far!

Excellent pattern. Will let the 12 gauge home this year.

By far the best turkey loads I have ever used. I will not use anything else but these in the future for Turkey hunting.

Awesome patterns. Out preforms the big ammo makers by far. Killed my first bird ever with a 20 gauge the other day. Benelli m2, Rob Roberts 560, and Apex 9 shot. This stuff is the real deal. Thanks guys

These loads have let me get the slam . Longest shot 55 yards

I switched from my Rem 12ga. 11-87 to a Rem 20ga. 870, using Apex 3″ 1 5/8 oz. #9. I use the Rem super full choke (.665) and the kill numbers were almost 90 at 40 yards. Bottom line, Apex has dialed in the right recipe for turkey ammo PERIOD! Scoring the Apex ammo from a 1 to 10 if I were extremely critical, I’d give it a 15!

Wish I had 4 arms. I would give them 4 thumbs up!!!! I completed my first Grand slam in 2021. I was using Apex 20 gauge, 3 inch, #9 shot.
I killed three birds at 40yds and the Merriam was at 10 steps. Apex is AWESOME! I will never shoot another brand of turkey shells. If you are looking for a quality made product made in America by Veterans, This is your shell.

20ga Apex #9s kill turkeys stone dead at 60yds. Fact, repeatable

Apex 20 gauge 1 5/8 oz #9 with a Franchi Infinity 3 using a Jeb’s .562 is deadly at 65 yards. I harvested my bird this year at the described distance. Unbelievable to think a 20 gauge could accomplish this, but I’m a customer for life. Why would anyone want to carry a 12 gauge anymore.

Being from a state with shot size restriction and wanting to make the switch to TSS I was forced to find a load 7.5 or larger. Apex was the first load I tried and it was extremely impressive on paper. My 20 gauge Rem 870 with a Jebs HH choke paired with 7.5 Apex is absolutely deadly at 40 yards. Couldn’t be happier with the load and great customer service as well working through the shortages post covid.

Been using these since they came out. The 1 5/8oz 3” loads are extremely deadly in my turkey gun. I’ve shot all there makes…the regular Turkey, Ninja, and some Small Batch #10’s. All do not leave an inch opening in a 30” circle at 42 yards. I’m not an all in a 10” circle kind of hunter, I love that open pattern. With that said out of three states hunted last year my farthest shot was 23yds…closest I had to wait until it walked on out to 17yds. I buy just about every time they have them available. I will NEVER run out of shells in my lifetime based on hunting 3-4 different states a year. Highly highly recommend. I’ve tried other manufacturers for fun and they all blow apart, guessing they load them way too hot.

Just patterned them out of a 20 gauge Retay, with a Carlson .555 TSS Choke. Blistered a 10 inch target at a little over 40 yards. Had roughly 75 more pellets in the target than the target my father-in-law shot at the same range with his 12 gauge, lead ammo. Definitely worth the extra coin!

Impressive turkey ammo, the #9s throw some great patterns. Clearly outperforms my old 10 guage with Hevishot.

WOW
Pattern, Performance…Perfection

I converted my sons Remington 870 Youth 20 gauge to a dedicated turkey gun and bought Apex shells based on the recommendation of a friend. I was very impressed at the 40 yard pattern using a .575″ choke and was blown away with the performance of the #9 shot on a nice Tennessee gobbler a few weeks ago. At 38 yards it was bang, drop and zero flop. That bird was stone dead and never moved. Considering buying some 2.75″ 12 gauge shells and trying to kill a bird with my dad’s A5.

Definitely recommend any of the Apex turkey loads. Haven’t found a shot size my guns don’t like. I’ve killed turkeys with the straight 9’s & the 9/10 blend out of my M2 20. Also my 11/87 likes the 8’s or the 9’s. The ammo isn’t the best thing either it’s that they’re Veteran own & made in America 🇺🇸

I’ve been hunting with these since they came out. I’m shooting a 20ga 870 with an Indian Creek choke, and let me tell you it is an absolute deadly combination Year after year. I buy at least 5 boxes every year when they are available. I’ll never run out in my lifetime, but I want to make sure my Grandson has plenty . Thanks Apex for a Great American made product, and Thank you for your service.

Prior to going out in the field this spring, I had not run a single shell through my gun. I hoped that a cheap 9 shot field load would perform similarly in my Berretta A300 with a Carlson Turkey choke tube so I patterned the gun with that. After some hard work through the season we finally got the dominant bird to come in. The shell in combination with the Kick-Off system in the A300 left almost zero noticeable recoil so a follow up shot would have been very easy, but there was no reason for that. The bird was at about 25ish yards, as soon as the shot hit him he hit the ground, and did not flop once. My dad had similar results the same season with your 12 gauge load. Truly superior shells, I cannot in the right mind see any change in the future. Thank you for your craftsmanship and time spent on this ammunition, as it is the only turkey loads I will use from now on.

Amazing performance on the #9 shot I feel confident if I stepped up to a 7.5-8 shot for more thump it’ll take a turkey 70-75 yards easy took one at 60 yards this past season with ease!

I took a bird this year with the GT-20 #9. I misjudged the yardage because I had to get up and move positions quickly. I thought he was around 40yd but I ranged it where he lay it was 52yd… stone cold dead. These shells are awesome and pattern great in my 20ga with .565 TruLock. I was tired of getting beat up by 12ga turkey loads so I changed to 20ga, these still kick but not near as bad as the 12ga

Unbelievable consistency! Due to shoulder injuries and surgeries I’ve dropped down to a 20 guage for turkey. Patterned the Apex and Apex Ninja through 2 different guns and 3 or 4 different chokes and there is very little change in performance! Exactly what you want in a shell. Gives me confidence I can load in any gun unchecked and the pattern will be the same. Results on birds is phenomenal! Only thing I have found is they don’t like being super constricted in tight chokes as it tends to start blowingvput the pattern. Think I shoot a 560 Jebs and a 565 IC in my two. Keep up the great work Apex!

Killed a Kentucky bird at 52 yards and killed a Mississippi bird at 42 yards this season. No problem at all. Shooting a 20 gauge with a .562 Indian Creek choke tube. Love the #9’s . I will never run out of these.
