These are very expensive for me to use as an everyday, 3 shots in the gun, load. However, I bought a box of .20 gauge 7 1/2's to reach out on long cripple shots. You know, you drop a goose on the water and it starts swimming away. Before you know it, the bird is far out of range for all other loads. You don't want to release the dog on a swimming cripple because the dog will never catch it. By the time you retrieve the boat, it might have disappeared. This morning I got my first chance to use them and I crushed a swimming crippled Goose at 80+ yards. Watched the jaws drop on everyone else in the blind. Amazing!

Used Apex TSS last year in 12 gauge 7.5s. It’s the best cartridge on the market since Kent no longer has tungsten matrix . My buddy Charlie had bought several cases before he switched over to a 20 gauge , so I’m buying the 12 gauge shells from him piecemeal. He is using Apex TSS in 20G now. We’re both on the back side of 70 and he said , “Spend for the best while we can”!

Used the #7.5 and #8 Apex last year on a hunt in my Browning Auto 5 12 Gauge. Absolutely mind blowing at the shots I began to take after getting used to the way it shoots. I began to instantly drop ducks I’d have never took a shot at with steel. Absolutely incredible. Ps. I’m waiting on the next batch to come available.

Crushes the birds at distance. Can confidently reach out to 50 yards with LM choking. Birds dead in the air!

First time using Apex. I bought the 8 shot for my 28ga. First shot out of the gate was a Hail Mary on a mallard at about 45-50yds and stoned it. Super impressed!

Finally season is opened. This does exactly as the data and research suggests. #8 tss out of a 20 gauge will complete penetrate a wood duck at 45 yards. Thanks for a good product

First time trying Apex Ammo….Here’s my thoughts after opening morning. It works and does what they claim. I dropped a mallard stone dead at 50 yards using a LM choke and Apex number 9s. After trying tons and tons of different steel loads with different choke combos over the years finally an ammo that backs up what it claims to do. Thanks for the great product!!!!
