Amazing stuff. Excellent patterns. Even with a short gun( 20” barrel )

Apex ammo is just good stuff. Not saying it kills a bird any more dead than my longbeard XRs did, but I’m certainly a lot more confident with this stuff. Patterns are amazing.
Jeremy Floyd (verified owner) –
Absolutely amazing ammo. I’ve shot it out of several different shotguns and the patterns are excellent out to 40. Even patterns good to 50yds out of my Steven’s 301 with factory turkey choke. This is my turkey load of choice.

Wasn’t completely satisfied with the patterns my girlfriend’s Stevens 301 was throwing with the stock choke. Coupled with a Patternmaster Code Black Turkey choke, the Apex Ninja TSS resulted in immediate improvements. She killed a nice 2nd year tom with one shot at a measured 36 yards the first week of the California season.

The pattern density is second to none and it’s the hardest hitting shells out there !

I’ve been using Apex for quite a while now, and honestly, I haven’t found a shell that doesn’t shoot well, in any gauge/bore. The 20ga. Ninja shoot exceptional through my SX4 with a Sumtoy 562-3. The #8 and STB are great as well, with the STB having the hottest core, and tightest overall pattern. Do yourself a favor and put a good optic on your setup, unless you’re going to use a stock improved cylinder or stock full choke. These pattern very tight! Which, I love. Give Apex a try, and see why so many of us are using their products. God Bless!

Awesome ammunition patterns great

Simply put Apex Ninjas WILL stop the flop. Every bird Ive shot with these are lights out no flopping, no stepping on necks, no wings slapping for a few minutes they are done…in 30yrs turkey hunting have I ever seen ammo do this. I love this stuff, plus the patterns out to 60yds are just unbelievable!
I truly love this ammo thank you Apex

I’ve shot every shot imaginable on the market through my Remington Versa Max and these Ninjas perform the best hands down. No comparison.

Just finished a second Florida season using the Ninja 9 1/2 in my Stevens 301 with a Jeb’s Headhunter choke. Two Osceolas down in 2020 and two down in 2021. Couldn’t ask for more. Have just ordered a box of 3″ 12 ga Ninja for my 870. The 870 is my travel gun that hopefully will be heading to the Black Hills in WY before the month’s end. Great product.

Great stuff. Patterns great and puts the birds down.

This season started as many other. Still using copper plated lead shot shells. My pattern was thin and my range was very limited. Then on recommendation from a few friends purchased some 3” Ninja loads. Boy was I surprised when I put these on some paper. It was outstanding. I shot the 3”” and 3-1/2” Ninjas through 4 different 12 gauge’s and the same result from each. Nice, even and deadly patterns. This is my load from now on.

Outstanding and amazing will never shoot another brand of turkey ammo

Best turkey shells on the market and thats the bottom line.

Apex ammo is hands down the best turkey ammo I’ve ever shot. I bought a 20 gauge this year and would not be afraid to take a 50 yd shot with this ammo. My nephew and I killed two long beards this year with the Ninja and both birds were stone dead with very little flopping. Great ammunition

Sold the 12 bought a 20. Pattern and penetration are incredible. This is a great product.

Outstanding ammunition. Bought a Winchester SX4 in 20 gauge this year. Bought 4 big brand names of ammo to see what patterned the best. All were ok at 35 but not great then I found Apex ammunition. Bought a box of Ninja 3” and it blew me away the way it held a pattern at 35 yds. This stuff definitely makes the 20 gauge the new 12 gauge. I’ll never turkey hunt with anything other than Apex ever again. Turkeys don’t flop much when you hit them with this ammo
Gary (verified owner) –
Good stuff. Only a few pellets less dense than the #9s. Throwing in excess of 250 pellets in a 10” at 40 yards. Would be more than comfortable using this ammo any time.

Apex ninja ammo is excellent high quality ammo. It shoots awesome patterns and is more affordable than other TSS loads.

I’ve been very pleased with the Ninja series and Apex in general. I have shot Federal, Browning, and Apex TSS loads and the Ninja has provided my most consistent patterns in both a Pointer O/U 410(Sumtoy Customs choke) and a Benelli Montefeltro 20ga(Trulock 580). The 20 ga is now my woods gun and I went with a more open choke, but I still have a great pattern at 40 yards. I wouldn’t hesitate at a 50 yard shot if needed. Just make sure you remove all shot before eating a bird because this stuff is hard on teeth.

Decided to fix up an old Stevens pump 410 with fixed full choke to turkey hunt. Tried Federal TSS and Apex Ninja. 35 Yards and Federal was not in the ball park. Apex was Awesome even at 50 yards Apex had a very good pattern. Good enough out of my old gun that it with Apex Ninja killed a Gobbler at 53 Yards last spring with a factory full choked barrel!

Great products. I have purchased numerous shells over the past several years and all are magnificent. Quality products from a quality company and a big plus for me is supporting a veteran owned company ! Keep up the great work gentlemen!

I have shot the Turkey Ninja for two seasons now. I have shot the 3 1/2 #8s out of a Remington 855, Benelli Nova, and Franchi Infinity. It is by far the most consistent load I’ve used. Pattern density is second to none and carries energy for a long distance. It’s a hard hitting load that’s worth it’s weight in gold. This is my go to shell.
FRANK REESE (verified owner) –
Great pattern with Ninja 8.5’s with trulock .585 in 20 gauge. Nice 20″ pattern at 40 yard and hot enough 10″ circle to kill at 50 yards if you miss judge your distance
Kevin Wells (verified owner) –
The 3″ 12 gauge Ninja shells produce the most amazing patterns that I’ve ever seen. 351 pellets in a 10″ circle at 40 yards, with a Trulock choke tube, WOW!
Orry Bettker (verified owner) –
I’m shooting this out of a stevens 301 turkey with the factory choke. This patterns as good as my 12 gauge 3.5 with number 6 shot at 40 yards unbelievable patterns!!
Frank Andrew (verified owner) –
410 These pattern great in old fixed full Winchester 37. Great pattern density at 35 yards in a 60+ year old 410. Unreal.

Turkey Ninjas are incredible. 2nd season with this ammo, Sumtoy .665 choke on my Affinity 3. I dropped a Tom at 72 yds this morning(rangefinder verified), handed my buddy one of these shells and 2 hours later he dropped one at a bare minimum of 50 yds. I already knew what they could do but 70 yards is incredible, my buddy is now convinced he may need to put the lead shot away. Great memories made, all you can ask for! Thanks Apex

These are the real deal and I have yet to see another setup with as devistating pattern. My son dropped a big tom this year at 68 yards (rangefinder verified twice) with the 20ga Ninjas (Browning Citori w/ 24″ barrels, 555 choke, and Fastfire 3 on top). When we skinned it out, there were 3 pellets in the neck and 3 in the head. I patterned it up to 60 yards and still had 10 pellets in the skull/spine. At 50 yards I compared the 1 5/8 oz 8s, Ninja 8.5s, and 1 5/8 oz 9s with that setup. The patterns were very close to the same density. I also intend on comparing the patterns at 70 just because of what junior did.
PS… Last year, my son dropped a huge tom at about 40 yards using the 2 3/4″ 1 3/8 oz 9s and I took a jake at 31 yards with the same setup. The jake didn’t move after the shot (head was mush).
Needless to say, I won’t buy anything else.
I tried to put the 60 yard pattern pic in the review, but wasn’t able to.

I was able to take a nice bird this year using my granddaughter’s 20ga and turkey ninja ammunition. It hammered him. Thank you for a great shell.

My absolute favorite 12ga 3.5″ Turkey load. Not a single Gobbler has walked away from it yet. With my Stoeger M3500 and Primos Jelly head TSS choke, I filmed a kill shot on a Gobbler at 53 yards. DRT Amazing shotshell.

.410 load all I can say is outstanding
