Without a doubt the hardest hitting, best patterning steel in the game, possibly ever. I have tried every shell maker in the last 15 years and nothing is even close to this. I pattern my gun every year and haven’t found anything close to Apex S3 Steel. I Have shot #2s and #3s and they are both amazing. The patterns are solid out to 40-50 yards with full choke. I shoot a SBE1 with Carlson’s chokes. Modified and Full. Please don’t ever change anything in this shell. Well Done Apex.

Ordered 2 cases of S3's from Rogers Sporting goods about 2 weeks ago. Patterned both 2 and 3 shot on paper and they were very uniform with no holes or stray pellets. Cut 1 of each shell open to find perfectly round shot with no BS fragments that other companies offer. Hunted with them for the first time over the weekend of Nov 1st. I had some minor issues that were obviously a defect with the hull. Shells still fired and crushed birds with them. Called the CS phone number first thing Monday morning and spoke to a gentleman whom I relayed my issue with. He was very professional and quickly sent out 2 replacement cases to my door. 2 days later were ready to roll and the issue has been corrected. This situation could not have been handled any better. These guys truly care about their customers! My 15 and 18 year old sons are waterfowl crazy and they witnessed what good CS is all about. Apex just earned 3 lifelong customers!

I used the S3/tss 2x7 for snows this spring the results were amazing. It’s hard to believe you can run number 7 tss clean thru a snow at 40yards but it does it often! Clean kills never a dud. I’m an ex Hevi shot-Boss shooter from now on.

These shells hit hard from ducks to big Canadas! You can tell the amount of research they have put into the wad design as I have the highest percentages in all my testing across a large range of firearms and chokes! My favorite rounds on the market to date!

Wow!! Not over hyped! I used to be a Winchester guy, they’ve fallen off. I was skeptical at 1st because I’ve been having to step up to 3 1/2 to get the results I wanted. I’m through half a case already this season, I can’t be more impressed. 10yrs experience

3rd year in a row shooting Apex 3" #2's. This is by far the best steel shot out there. Hits hard and has always shot consistently great patterns. I'm sold on it.

I just got back from 7 days of waterfowl hunting in Saskatchewan and was using the S3 steel. I was shooting #4's and they were devastating on waterfowl of any size, ducks, honkers, specks, snows it didn't matter. The best part of all this was no Cripples.

I have been Waterfowling for over 49 years and grew up shooting a 20ga. Since the inception of steel shot I have not experienced a harder hitting steel then what Apex is offering. I hardly shoot my 12ga anymore because the 20ga the new 12 ga now that I’m shooting Apex Steel.

This has got to be the hardest steel shot I have ever shot. I have guided for over 30 years and this ammo definitely makes a difference when it comes to effectively harvesting waterfowl. I’m pleased to know that I can take my 20ga and not worry about being under gunned. Highly recommend!!

I currently shoot a Benelli SBE3 w/ a Patternmaster code black duck/goose choke. I used to shoot Black Cloud but after using this ammo I will never go back. The pattern was incredible and the ducks and geese died instantly or shortly after impact. I even managed to break the wings of 2 geese at 40-50 yards. If you are looking for a solid ammo, look no further!

I was big fan of some other ammo that’s direct to your door and was little reserved about this ammo. I patterned both #4 & #2 shot and was extremely pleased. This is the ammo I will shoot this season. Great price great availability and to top of off the guys that own and run this business are veterans. Y’all can count on my business!!
