We know the sentiment of a 1o gauge. Whether you’ve just always wanted one or it was passed down to as a family heirloom, we make this shell for those exact same reasons. Packed with 2 1/2oz of shot and traveling at 1100 FPS, we offer it in 7 1/2, 8 or 9 shot. The 10 gauge may be a dying breed to some, but will forever be a staple in the Apex line.

SHOT COUNT:

  • #9: 905
  • #8: 635

First turkey season using Tungsten loads. Chose the Apex Magnum 10, 7.5 load after it substantially out patterned the Hevi Shot Magnum Blend 10 load at 40 and 60 yards. Two guns over 2 mornings, we killed 4 birds at 19, 23, and 61 yards on laser range finders. Birds collapsed with no kicking from from standard full .745 choke constriction. Next year might try 8s if I can get them.

These shells are simply amazing. I shot a jake at 110 yards last year and even killed the bearded hen behind him that was 130 yards. I had to put a scope on my shotgun just so I could make sure I’m shooting toms instead of jakes! Sometimes I don’t even leave the truck. Talk about saving some steps!

Nothing even compares to these shells. Been shooting the #7.5 shot for 5 years now in my Browning Gold 10 with a .690 Indian Creek choke and have had multiple kills at 75 plus yards. 442 pellets in a 10 inch circle at 40 yards. If you are serious about killing turkeys then this is the ammo you should be shooting.

I have harvested two gobblers with the #9s, one at 65 yards and the other at 70 yards. Both gobblers came in within 20 yards but we're bunched up with other birds, so I had to let them walk. The gobbler at 65 yards never flopped and the one at 70, just flopped for a few seconds. The knock down power of these loads are impressive to say the least. It took me a few years of reviews and a fair amount of skepticism but Apex TSS turkey loads are no joke. Yes they are expensive but after you figure time, gas, hotel, food, etc. They are worth every penny.

I shot my spring gobbler at 65 yards and he never flopped. I just shot my fall gobbler at 70 yards and it bowled him right over. The knock down power of these loads is unreal.

BEEN TURKEY HUNTING FOR OVER 30 YEARS. I HAVE SHOT EVERYTHING MADE OVER AND OVER. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO BETTER LOAD MADE! THESE LOADS EXTEND YOUR RANGE BY 20 YARDS OVER LEAD AT LEAST! I N THE LONG RUN THEY WILL ACTUALLY SAVE YOU MONEY IN THE JUST BECAUSE OF GAS PRICES. BY EXTENDING YOUR RANGE YOU WON'T HAVE TO DRIVE TO THE TURKEYE WOODS AS MUCH LOL

Just shot my 4th gobbler this year at 67 yards with my 10ga and #9s and he didn’t even flop. My 3rd bird was with my 410 and #9s at 25 yards and flipped him over on his back. Gotta love apex #9s. So now I’ve been there done that and bought your T shirt!

Over 400 pellets in a 10” circle at 50 yds. No other load for the 10 gauge compares. Absolute hammer.
